Holy Cow! August 2020 my paintchat is down for several years, i still have everything and want to update it for the latest java - if your a programmer and can help me get this recompiled to work with the newest java, please contact me: i ran nikos paintchat for about 11 years till java security required updating my java code. i've been living life for the last 6 years and i'm ready to get the old code recompiled and could use help. Any Hello to everyone who drew on nikos paintchat !!!

Just emailed you! I've been dabbling in java, but this would give me a lot of practice in coding Java if I can take a look at it.
I'm almost a year late in responding to this but honestly at this rate no one really wants to jump thru hoops to force Java to work anymore, especially with how outdated the Paintchat software was.
Everyone uses Drawpile these days so it might be more worth it for you to host a Drawpile server, I think that's what MangaMasters and some of the other Paintchat websites ended up doing in the end.
Glad to see you're still around however! I can never forget the fun times I had at Niko's back when it was my old stomping grounds!

Late reply, again lol. If you need a server to host it on, I currently have server hardware at home that can host it for you. Just let me know. I really wanna see paintchat boards come back. let me know if you would like me to host. I miss niko's paintchat...
